I can’t think of anything to say about these photos. I just miss that boy beside me, a lot.
SIXTH
Finally, Becky Vintage 6th Collection will be launched later at exactly 8pm. Due to my overloaded schedule, I wasn’t able to squeeze time to make a post about it. So before it comes out later let me give you a little peek on some clothes I picked from 100+ items coming in our store tonight. <3

6th collection is bursting with vibrant colors. From dresses to tops, shorts and skirts, blazers and vests and did you notice something here? We’ve also added a few pairs of high waist pants. I’m really tempted to keep them all but I know someone will be much happier when I put them in my store. These pants are looking for new owners. Also, 6 pairs of shoes are arriving tonight. We’ve got cone heels, a pair of brogues and wedges and 2 pairs of vintage lace up boots. I hope this makes you more excited.=)
It’s been almost 4 months since 5th collection came out. I know it’s a long time so let me refresh your mind. Please remember these 2 simple steps how to be the first one to catch some pretty stuff later.
1. Be fast to comment “mine”. If someone has “mine-d” it already, don’t lose hope. Just comment next.
2. For those who succeeded to be the first to “mine” the item/s, send order form here. No need to wait for our go signal anymore, just submit order form.
We will be launching 6th collection in our facebook account, not in our fan page. But feel free to visit our fan page anytime. You might want to click its LIKE button. One click is all it takes to make us happier online store owners.
How can I forget these lovely sunnies?? They are just for you! Good luck girls!=)

P.S. I have an important announcement to make, but that would be in a separate post.

Chiaratopia!: Port 88 Bazaar Invites x Double Giveaway!
Hey there sexy ladies!
Do you have any plans this coming weekend? If not, then why not! Is it because you’re stressed with work, or all the school load? Or is it because you just don’t have any ideas on where to go at the moment?
Well, for the stressed all I can say is, give yourselves some…
Wandering in Orchard Road I was when I noticed a mob of photographers flashing their lights endlessly. Curious I am, I get close to them and take a look at what they are shooting at.
Lo and behold!!!
They are shooting at gorgeous ladies - not to mention men and kids. That’s when I knew Massimo Dutti was having a small fashion thing going on. Luckily I got to sneak closer to the front and capture some really attractive models.
Well, if you are looking for some serious clothing with a kick of trend and style, Massimo Dutti is the place to be.

A PARTY LIKE NO OTHER
Last month, my cousin Nicole celebrated her 18th birthday at the Penthouse in Marc 2000 Tower. And I heard from one of the event organizers that they will be giving 2 awards at the end of the program. One goes for the earliest bird, (Ah! I missed that! My sister was the earliest. Di sya masyado excited. I came half an hour later. Sayang!) and one for the best dressed (Ahem ahem). I was really aiming to bag that award. Haha! Let’s see if I will make it. We were told to wear something black. So we did. My family were very supportive to the debutante that some of them bought brand new clothes to wear while others had a custom made frocks. Naks. As for me, well good thing that I have a sponsor in events like this. Hehe. Who else but Becky! I will reveal my ensemble later in this post. For now, let me introduce you the lovely debutante, Nicole. She was the prettiest girl that night. Pagbigyan na natin please, birthday naman nya. Honestly, Nicole looked so beautiful and ecstatic that everything about her had shone the brightest among us. Her overflowing happiness radiated through her gleaming eyes and smile. She was the queen that night.
‘
Nicole changed clothes five times during the party. Bongga! Here she is sparkling with her 5 fabulous costumes.

1st outfit: She looked stunning as she walked the ramp wearing this black sheer kimono-like dress.

2nd outfit: Nicole doing a catwalk with her Lady Gaga-inspired jumpsuit.

3rd outfit: Getting misty eyed while dancing with her Papa as she wears a super gorgeous long bare back dress.

4th outfit: Nicole strutting this little cute pink tutu skirt while belting out a Spice Girl’s hit song with her college friends.

5th outfit: Her last outfit for the night, a bright pink leatherette studded jacket while jiving to the music with cousins. It was her showtime moment.

Nicole with her whole buena familia. Her Papa is the most handsome guy in the family, don’t you think? Hehe.

With her ever supportive parents giving thanks to all the guests and party organizers.
Here are some of the photos with the rest of the family.

Magulo shot

Mas magulo shot

All smiles.

Presenting Nicole with the seniors. Hehe. Meet our jolly grandpa and lovely grandma’s.

Sila ang malapit na magsenior. Hehe! Robles siblings. The youngest, Nicole’s mom, is missing in this photo. Guess who’s the eldest?

Wacky photo of our generation. I did not participate with the concept. Sorry Dr.Amy for posting this photo. Haha!

Together with the 3 event organizers. On the left side is Quim, our very creative and artistic cousin.

Meet my older sister and my mother. Find the hidden Becky here. Haha!

I was part of the 18 gifts and here I am saying a brief message for the celebrant.

Pink Nicole and my chubby cheeks. Haha! I like her jacket, though.
When all the guests had left, the party did not end yet. We still had some fun with the family by taking more crazy pictures and showing off our moves at the dance floor. We even strutted our outfits by doing the catwalk one by one. And now, here’s what I wore…. Tada! This is not a dress but many had mistaken it for a one piece dress.

H&M top, Bread and Butter skirt, Vintage belt, Forever 21 heels, Topshop bag
Trivia: The only part that did not come out from Becky’s trunk here is my bag. I swear.=) I was wearing a lace gloves during the party but I removed it after the program . Please forgive me for wearing my eyeglasses here. I really have poor eyesight. Maybe that’s the reason why I did not win the best dressed award. Sigh. Haha!

This was your night Nikka, as we fondly call her. It was one great and fun party, indeed. We enjoyed it to the max.=) Next time, ako naman panalunin mo sa award ha. Haha!=)
FIRST EVER ISSUE
In the midst of the release of Becky Vintage’s fourth collection, we received a message from one of our friends, the thought of another order form struck the cerebellum of my head. Well, my assumption was wrong. The letter came from someone named Bella Morcen, a Multimedia Arts student from De La Salle-College of St. Benilde who wanted to feature us in her magazine project. Woah! One big step for humanity - I mean for Becky Vintage! Sure thing, we responded as if we are not totally excited. Even though it was only a school project, we know it will still generate new friends and later on, shoppers for Becky Vintage. So with all our excitement hidden, we gave all information about Becky Vintage and answered queries, Bella readied. Who doesn’t want to be seen in a magazine, anyway?! Becky and I were in high spirits after knowing that our shop was chosen to be part of her project. Now that the magazine is done, let me share to you some snippings we got.

Mag cover featuring pretty Marie Jershel Co.

Lookie. I see Becky! Together with awesome online shops like Props Tools and Cosmetics, Sachico Shop, Belle York, and Accessorize Shop.
This was the first time that Becky Vintage got featured in a magazine. Becky and I hope that this won’t be the last.=) More pages from her magazine HERE.
Her name describes her craft. Beautiful. To see more of her works, click the photo below.
We would like to thank Bella, and her team who made this project possible. Hope you got a 5 for this. :)
We wish you all the success in your soon-to-be-career as an artist/fashionista/designer/photographer. Cheers!=)

MISS POLKA
Being a vintage online seller is really not an easy job. I think I have mentioned this before. Don’t get me wrong here. I am not complaining. In fact, I am loving everything about this job. And because of this, I’m now a self-confessed vintage shopaholic. I love to find more clothes for my store. It has become my obsession already. I would go anywhere just to bring my dear clients the best and one off pieces that I can dig up. I already got used to the routine of going from one shop to another, tirelessly scouring the racks of clothes of each shop I go into and mastering the skill to haggle for the items I picked. I have learned to do these things fast for I’m really into this even before I launched Becky Vintage store.

If there is one thing that I find so difficult to do in this kind of business, it is the ability to let go of each and every beautiful piece that I found. What’s really hardest for me is the part when I will watch every item go and leave our trunk. I used to feel sad when my best finds are being sold and delivered to their new owner. I just convince myself that I will be able to find again another same piece and that the new owner will appreciate them more as I do. That’s when I feel better. It took me a long time to get over that stage. Sometimes, I do still have moment of indecisiveness when I want to keep them all inside my closet. But I know their worth and beauty will be put into waste if I have done that. They are made to be worn and flaunted, not to be kept. That mere thought made me a better vintage finder and seller. Now, I am more excited and determined to seek more amazing vintage finds and I am very much willing and happy to bring them to my clients without any hesitation or regret.

Vintage dress, Shoes by Asian Vogue
This vintage dress is an exception. I found this 2 weeks ago at a random store near our place. I decided to keep this for myself because I know when I let this go, I might never see anything like this again. For the longest time I was looking for something exactly like this. I adore its polka dot pattern, its belt, square neckline, mid calf length and the ruffles alongside the button placket. Even the stitches and buttons are still intact. Now that I have finally found it, I don’t want to let this rare chance pass me by.
